Before starting the game, players create their ideal hero by choosing from one of seven unique character classes. The game can be played either solo or with a party of four players, making it great for a group of dedicated adventurers to enjoy together. Much like the previous games in the Diablo franchise, Diablo 3 is played from an isometric perspective, with players exploring dungeons and open-world maps as they collect new loot. This excellent additional chapter revolves around a powerful artifact known as the Black Soulstone, which harnesses the power of the seven Great Evils. Diablo 3: Eternal Collection also includes the Reaper of Souls expansion, which continues the story in an all-new final act. Following Deckard and Leah's advice, the player must travel across Sanctuary on a quest to conquer various foes, including demons, zombies, and a varied assortment of other supernatural creatures. You begin your adventure in the town of New Tristram, where you learn of an ancient prophecy involving an invasion of Sanctuary by the Lords of Hell.
